Rhodes Bakery – Notting Hill Gate

In the eclectic heart of Notting Hill Gate, chef and baker Paul Rhodes has recently opened a second bakery, dedicated to creating handcrafted, freshly baked breads and pastries, and Inside Out supplied them with contract furniture.

Paul Rhodes selected Inside Out to provide furniture for the opening of his flagship bakery situated in Greenwich in 2008, and chose to work with Inside Out again for the new bakery.

Rhodes were looking for a comfortable and contemporary seating solution for this new location. Two different sections were to be created, an area furnished with bar stools near the front of the bakery to optimize on space while still creating a sit down atmosphere, and a second seating area with bespoke seating, tables and stools for a more relaxed atmosphere. Rhodes wanted to create a sumptuous and contemporary atmosphere, with colours complementing their brand and logo. Inside Out provided bespoke seating upholstered in black plum vinyl, with complementing Marshmallow stools also upholstered in black plum vinyl; brushed stainless steel Ice cub circular base tables with solid wood circular and square tops, as well as brushed stainless steel Slinky barstools upholstered in black leather.

The finished project at Rhodes is a perfect mix of contemporary design and practically durable and comfortable furniture.
