Established over a century ago, Barkers is a family run business, situated in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. Barkers are dedicated to offering quality products, good value and friendly service at both the department store located on the High Street and the Home Furnishing Store purpose built on the edge of town. The Home Furnishing Store, which offers a wide choice of high quality upholstery, cabinet furniture, beds, bed linen, flooring, lighting, soft furnishings, pictures and mirrors; features a 65 seat first floor Terrace Café, dedicated to serving light meals throughout the day. Barkers recently refurbished the Terrace Café, and chose designers from Jamieson Smith Architects to create the perfect café space. Inside Out provided the furniture solution Barkers required with Katia Side Chairs, Gordon Tub Chairs, and Ice Cube brushed stainless steel table bases with wood grain laminate tops. The chosen furniture created a traditional and warm, yet contemporary feel in the Terrace Café, a perfect atmosphere to suit Barkers.
