Striving for great academic performance, Abertay can also pride itself on providing outstanding facilities. Abertay selected Inside Out to assist in creating the optimal environment for students to fulfil themselves. The project required innovative designs and special attention to social considerations for the breakout areas. The chosen furniture and layout was a unique combination of uncluttered yet bold pieces chosen in order to add a stylish and contemporary vibe to the venue.

The numerous seating areas reveal various materials, finishes and colours which are perfectly matching and striking additions to the Abertay interior. Inside Out supplied among other pieces, the small and versatile Cube Stools upholstered in vinyl, Ice Cube Square Coffee Tables, Chunky Stools, robust-designed Slinky barstools complimented by Slinky Tables, original Scandal Plastic chairs, elegant Barcelona 3 Seaters, opulent Barcelona Chairs as well as sleek-designed Shot Coffee Tables.

The completed result is cosy and cool yet trendy and smart, allowing the environment to be stimulating while relaxing; perfect to socialise with friends and meet with lecturers. The refurbishment is a real showcase of fashionable pieces of furniture and contributes to making Abertay an ideal place to be a student.
