Every year the Inside Out team travel to Milan, Italy for the annual Salone Del Mobile Milano; a.k.a Milan Furniture Fair; a.k.a biggest furniture trade fair in the world…
As part of our mission to be industry leaders for contemporary and design-led commercial furniture, the annual pilgrimage to Milan has become our most important date of the year.
At this year’s fair, we witnessed new and exciting designs from our existing factories, as well as innovative and emerging talent. Following the fair we spend days, sometimes weekends debating over which 12 pieces we will bring home from the fair out of the thousands and thousands of designs that were launched.
It is with great pleasure, that we introduce this new collection which we now launch in London at our modern showroom.
In conjunction with the arrival of this collection, we have invited clients and friends to book a visit to our London Showroom from June 16-23 for an exclusive preview and some good ol’ Italian Hospitality with our own British charm added.
Guests were welcomed with Prosecco/Espresso/San Pellegrino and Pasticcini (small cakes and desserts for those who don’t speak Italian) whilst testing, stroking and admiring our new Milan-debuted chairs and tables. To the backdrop of Paverotti’s voice, our showroom was adorned with new fabrics, lighting and a fully stocked bar to complement our new collection.
Voted staff favourite, the Honeycomb with feminine fluted velvet seat and back is a refined yet quirky design. The tubular rod frame is surprisingly robust and supportive, available in on-trend rose gold like our very own showroom version. All velvet upholstery options are crib 5 for use in UK commercial environments make this chair a no-brainer for restaurants, cafes and bars.

From the canals of Venice comes the Remo side chair, inspired by a gondola’s ore. The Remo collection in solid ash wood can we lacquer to match, which we have done for our showroom sample in blush pink to complement our Coral upholstered seat.

The age old milking stool has been given a new name; Puccio. Available in plenty of choice combinations from metal vs solid wood frame, lacquer vs natural stain seat, low vs high stool, and stool vs table! Opting for impact, we chose a brass frame with lacquered seat in coral colour to take this simple silhouette from ‘moo cow’ to wow.
